Hero Discount. Thank you for your service.

There’s a chapter of my life that shaped everything I do now and how I see everything.

My husband and I have been together since high school, and during his years in the USMC we spent more time apart than together — boot camp, MCT, multiple deployments. While he served, I filled the quiet spaces the best way I knew how: working with a portrait photographer in La Jolla and slowly building my own photography business.

Then came the deployment that changed everything.

His injury shifted our entire world. Overnight, life became less about chasing adventure and more about surviving the day in front of us. My priorities rearranged themselves — not because I wanted them to, but because love sometimes demands that kind of strength.

For years, we moved forward through his pain and limitations, one small step at a time. And somehow, in the middle of all of it, we built a family. Eleven years later, we have two incredible boys, a home that finally feels like ours, and a treatment that helps ease his pain. After so much holding on, we’re finally in a season where we get to grow again — to breathe, to explore, to choose adventure instead of just endure.

Through all of it, one thing has never changed:

I am profoundly honored to be the spouse of a veteran who sacrificed so much for our country. And I am endlessly grateful for every person who serves — and for the families who stand behind them.

That’s why I offer my Hero’s Discount.
